DIY : Coin Purse

     Hi guys! This my first post about making crafts. Here, I’ll show you how to make a coin purse. It’s easy, you can try it at home. The materials used are also not expensive. With a capital of 8000 IDR, you are able to make a coin purse with an appropriate design as you want. You can also try using the unused scrap materials that exist in your home. So check this out guys :D

1 . Prepare the Equipments and Materials

2 . Cut design into a pattern . Attach the pattern on the flannel using a needle pin (2a), then cut the material according to the pattern. Remove the needle pin (2b).

3 . Prepare a piece of flannel with size 15cmx15cm. You can also create a bigger size. Sewing pieces of pattern (2b) on the base flannel. For leaf pattern , I sewed using even backstitch and blanked stitch (3a). The results can be seen at figure 3b.

And this is the result of stitching all the pieces of pattern (3c).

4 . Cut PVC and glue trikot, exaggerating the size of about 3cm from base flannel size . Sort from reverse is PVC – Base Flannel – Glue Trikot. Then, attach the cellophane tape on (4a). For the glue trikot, the position of existing  glue stick to the base flannel. Heat using a iron (4b) . And the results can be seen in figure 4c.

5 . Fold the base flannel into two parts with inverted position. Sewing both sides of the edge by using a even backstitch (5b). Cut the PVC rest of the over . And the results can be seen in figure 5c.

6 . Position the zipper on the side that has not been sewn, and then pin with a needle pin (6). Zipper must be in an open state. Sew using evenbackstitch.

7 . Flip the base flannel. And voilaaaa ! The coin purse is already : D
